started out this morning, with the ferrets and long nets, headed to a farm in the south of ireland. arrived just after 11 and was looking for the first warren of the day. so we went to a local house that has abit off a rabbit problem in its front garden so long net out and a few pursenets down but the garden is an L shape and the long net was put along the hedge but unfortunatly all the rabbits bolted in the hedge

so moved on to a few ground warrens but no rabbits at home, did the old faithful warren on the ground and low and behold one bunny at home that looked at me then said " that i will take my chances with the ferrets" but i was to quick and pulled him from the hole with ferrets attached.

so back to the car for a change of ferrets and some tea. next warren was a nice tidy 2 holer that was netted and ferret entered in seconds. few minutes later ferret finder out and located here at 2 ft so started a dig and rabbit bolted well caught by ryan (ryanboxer) and while we were sorting that rabbit anohter bolted and kicked off the net.

into a hedge this time, which came with 2 free horses that decided it was good to eat my nets ferret in and no rabbits bolting thougth something was up then hear whats that? from the other side of the hedge and ther we had a cat that had came from the hole??

decided to quit with that hedge and move on, so long netted one side of the hedge zig zaging it round the ground holes and then back along the hedge. pursenetted the other side of a 8ft deer fence. so ferret enterd and after 10 mins i had a rabbit hit the long net and at the same time ryan had one which he pulled from the nettles. so after another few bolts we had 4 rabbits from this warren. called it a day at 6 rabbits

rice is supose to be good for the white ferret to get weight on

yeah worm her out tho aswell just to be safe. mine are all due to be wormed soon. have all those rabbits still to gut tomorrow,
