Found a live badger pit this afternoon. Its on the same route I walk everyday to check fences. This is very bad news as badgers will take piglets. I'm pretty sure the set is on my neighbours land so i've told him already. I'm going to have to keep an extra eye on the pups.
What does everyone think about badgers? I think they are nasty and should be culled, theres way too many of them.

Aww, comeon folks... they're just overgrown ferrets after all.
Make good shaving brushes though.
We've loads round here, But we've also got a lot of efficient predators, CARS!
this week I've seen four road kill bludgers on the roads on way to my work and 2 polecats.
Problem with roadkill badger is, unlike venison, is it just stays on the side of the road rotting & stinking yer car out every time you drive by. Folks tend to pick up venison rather sharpish round here... funny that wink.gif

kill them all, they scrap rabbit nests too.

I cant comment as we've got none here so this is very interesting for me. TBH, a few brocks digging up the bunnies would be a bonus, but if we saw a badger here, there would be local headlines.
