Sometime ago I entered the photo competition with a photo of one of my pups in a flower pot - that was Alfie. He went to live about a mile from me and over the last year have seen him grow to a stunning dog. His owner called here last week to show the nights catch of 10 rabbits and we were all just so chuffed with the way Alfie was coming on. Sad news is that he was knocked over and killed on Monday morning in a village near here. I just cant stop thinking about it and his poor owner is completely gutted sad.gif

I'm so sorry to hear that mate, i remember that photo, what a stunning pup he was.

R.I.P Alfie.

They haven't really been taken away.
They have only gone with the Angels to play.
They have been given wings with which to fly.
All their troubles have passed them by.

Their life in heaven now must start.
But we'll hold their memory in our hearts.
Nothing about them will be forgotten.
But now they sleep on billowy clouds of cotton

I know how you feel, I had a little Papillion called Mandy, called after her dad randy Andy.Early one morning while out walking she saw a bag of chips on the road, a car appeared out of nowhere, bang, that was it. The driver probably never seen her, she was that tiny. She was 7 years old and a little lady, we all still miss her very much, I would still shed a tear for her.

Sorry to hear about Alfie, he looks so cute wub.gif in that flower pot.
