headed out again last night at a very early 8pm! headeded somewhere local a mate knew and first bird out was my mates first year female, whos had 4 rababits now and he wanted to see how she would do on the lamp. first rabbit see seen, she chased hard, she had a good half a dozen flights with some really close encouters, think she got a foot to one or two. for a bird that had never seen a lamp i was shocked, she whacked into some thick cover a few times too, very confident bird she was. but come about 10 pm she was too wet to fly on so we took out rolf.entereding the first field i got a phone clal saying i had to be back at 11:30 to get the car before my da put his in, early start for him. anyway, decided to go for just the one we headed on first field there was a steep climb up a hill, when we reached the flat ground at the top, i flicked the beam on , to see a rabbit30 yards from cover, rolf was of like a shot, went it at it but jinked it, then landed in a post, as the rabbit ran alogn the ditch towards us, then out of nowhere rolf is back in the equation, whacked it right in the backside, but managed to anchor it with the ditch, not a bad flight. so 1 rabbit 1 kill. and home for 11pm. wasnt walking about like a zombie in work today for a change lol
