One with her first and only ever rabbit, one of my 10 year old greyhound/whippet, using her to teach the young dog its trade!

brilliant lookin pup m8, at what age did u start to run the dog properly??

hi greenman to be honest ihavent really started running her yet just let her follow the older dog when my russall is flushing under growth shes seen her nail afew in the last couple of months. had her out also with the lamp again just to spectate but she now pulling on the lead when the other dog is chasing, it just so happend on one occasion that the russell pushed one out in front of her and she picked it up not much of a run about 20 feet but a big confidence boost for the dog .

thanks ripstop she is a bit of a mixture her only failing at the moment is she carrys her nose to the ground alot and misses alot of what is going on had one rabbit broke cover ran past her and she didnt see it. she marks in rabbit all the time even tracks pheasant but hard to keep her head up and follow the lamp hope this improves with age

i find the same with my lurch, trying to make him follow the lamp but isnt much sucess!!
