My mooching sessions have been quite interesting this week, for 3 days in succession a buzzard has been sitting on the ground obviously dining smile.gif , he doesn't seem too bothered by our presence unless we get too close then he flies off to the nearest telegraph pole & watches us. On one occasion he circled overhead very low, Kyle was fascinated & sat watching him till he flew away.
Wed I had 3 dogs in the paddock, 2 on leads the other running loose, the local shoot was in full swing a couple of fields away. In the woods behind me I heard a dog barking, I just thought that the gamekeeper wouldn't be impressed with the pheasant leaving before they moved up there to shoot mad.gif A couple of minutes later a deer came flying down the fence in the field next to me, I managed to grab the loose dog before he saw it just as another one jumped into the paddock
rolleyes.gif I was hanging onto 3 lurchers standing up on their back legs trying their best to escape my clutches. The deer was running along the fence to get back out but it was in a panic so jumped into rather than over the fence. I managed to do my Hercules imitation & haul the raging 2 legged beasts wacko.gif behind some trees until the deer calmed down enough to jump back out.
