after yesterdays unsucessfull digging were we were told to leave the land because it was a sunday
we decided to do some lamping, so headed out last nite at about 9.30, took bow and flynn am unsure as to how well they will work foxes but thought it best to give them ago at it an see.
so spotted the first fox, and got into the field, he was sitting in the hedge just watching us, tryed squeeking him in but with no luck he sat watching us and even when the filter came off the lamp he still sat ther

every time we tried to approach him he moved off again keeping half a field between us and him so, after chasing him for 3 fields we called it quits with him.
2 fields down we seen another crossing a large crop field, this one had a massive profile in the lamp, and he sat watching and listening got up a little on him for a slip but it got to the hedge quicker than the dogs which wasnt bad since the fox had a fair start on them. also saw a hare in the same field but didnt slip on him.
we lamped another 3 foxes all along the same length of road, all of them shy, think it mite have been the conditions, so have ordered a new call and hope the weather changes in the next few days and will try our luck again.
sorry no pics this time and no video had no one to hold the camera
