Fritz snoozing under the couch downstairs.Dad had -*test*-('")s at Sunnybrook recently where they stuck needles in his legs and arms and wires on his chest to check the progress of Lou Gehrig's disease.The doctor is one of the best in the field of ALS and he said dad was in the advanced stage of the disease.Don't know how long he has but some people have lived 2- 10 years with it.Some days one leg is worse than the other,eats good,sleeps well,takes iron pills to keep the iron level up,is taking the Riluzole to help check the progrees of some symptoms.he has no other problems.The only ones now is is talking which is better than other times and his legs.Fritz is a big help,that is what dad said and Mom said the long trip to Wiarton,Ontario to get him was worth it,so i am sure Fritz would like to hear that.Dad has another appointment at Sunnybrook on the 27th,which is a week Tuesday,so we will see what happens with that.ireen had asnother chemotherapy on friday,the session went well,is holding her own and has another 2 or three of these sessions.

Fritz snoozing on dad's lap which he does every morning.Fritz now has a habit of taking anyone's shoes ,one of ours or somebody visiting and he takes it under the dining room table and uses it as a pillow.it has been real cold here lately and Fritz goes out and he likes it out there,have to show him a treat to get him in.
