hi i had 2 europeian egleowls that i used on foxes over my staffy x whippet but i had to get rid of them becos 1 tyme we wer out and thay attaced the dog and from then on thay keped doing it so i gave them to a frend and i am getting a red tail hawk next weekend cant waight anay 1 else have a bird of pray on hear yet?

had a mate who had a harris hawk, and it made me think about getting one then i found out a little more about the upkeep & training you would need loads of spare time on your hands to have one of these. i would love to go out and watch them work, think it would be awsome.

I flew a female harris hawk last season she isnt a hunting bird, i picked up my 2006 male redtail on wednesday. I have also flown a kestrel and a common buzzard in the past.

We have 6-8 wild buzzards flying round here, impressive birds. Still trying to get photos of them but will need a better camera How long does it take to fully train a bird? Does it vary very much between different types of bird ?

it depends in the bird and some breeds take longer and some shorter olso it depends if it is a hawk eagle falcon buzzerd e.c.t but i am hopeing to have my readtail hunting within 2 to 3 weeks from geting it
