Just saying hello. My name is Kev (Kevegg because I keep chickens). I have had 3 lurchers so far, the first been a Deerhound x Greyhound I bought as a puppy, a lovely dark brindle bitch who lived to the age of 12, the next been a Bedlington x Greyhound bitch bought as a pup who lived until earlier this year and died aged 10 and my current lurcher, a bitch who I bought in October at 8 weeks old. She is a Collie/Whippet x Bedlington/Whippet. I have used pure bred whippets for rabbiting/ferreting as well. I have had ferrets for about 20 years although I haven't ferreted for 3 or 4 years now due to ferrets been elderly and then having replacement stock stolen. I now have 3 ferrets from last year who I will be starting soon. I also enjoy shooting (Shotgun, .22rf and air-rifle), and sea fishing. I will put up some pics of my new pup (Jess) as soon as I work out how.
