Hello everyone. I'm very pleased to say that im back on the old tinternet' and am very much looking forward to reading all your posts again and contributing some of my own.
Since my last post I have become the very proud owner of a new pup. Deva was bred by Andrew 'Stat' Stainton of south Lincolnshire and has so far lived up to all that his superb line has to offer. She is now four and a half monthes old. I'll post some pictures of her when I've figured out how to do it.
My 1/2 bred beardie that i purchased from David Hancock is coming on extremely well and has surpassed all expectations, so much so infact that they may have to rewrite the book on beardie crosses as far as she is concerned.
She has been so easy to train its almost laughable. She is now at a standard most gundog owners would be more than pleased with.
Aura showed that she wanted to work the first day I took her out and she hasn't looked back since. She caught her first rabbit 3 days short of being 5 months old.
Before you all start jumping on my back about starting her to soon can I add that it was never my intention to do so. Where I live i'm blessed with an abundance of rabbits so it was inevitable that she would come across one on our strolls around the lakes.
I'm looking forward to starting her in eanest the winter.
I see from my email that a show is planned for the near future, has a venue been chosen yet? I'd very much like to attend and meet some of you in person.

The last two are of Deva my Stat bred pup, Merlin x Ice.

Thanks guys. The second shot was taken on the beach at Wells next the sea in Norfolk where we spent the morning bushing rabbits in the sand dunes.
I have loads of other photos of my girls I'll share with you all shortly.
