Hi new on here was just wondering how you`s have got on. Well mine started slowly had to wait on everything to die down and that took till nearly december. Haven`t been massive bags but most trips have been productive and since the back end of january the sport has been good. If this bit weather keeps up migth just get a little more fun. my season has been much the same, thers been no real hard weather to bring the cover down. all of my trips out have been productive altho with the outbreak of myxi on some of my best ground im abit apprehencive about next season.

im hoping that i have a few more weeks of bolting for the dogs ahead of me.

BAD SEASON MIXY LASTED THE FULL SEASON STILL COMIN ACROSS THE ODD ONE WITH IT BEEN SHITE,ATB PRITCH

Been very fortunate up here pritch ,allthough seen a young rabbit at work the other day and it was mixy. Fingers crossed it is`nt a bad out break this year atb FV

we don't go by seasons as we ferret all year round, but the last few months have been fantastic. And no signs of myxi

Hpefully the snow and frost we are expecting in the next few days will help kurb any Myxi here. did see some signs of it on a good bit of ground a few months back.

is strange seeing myxi in the winter tho, bloody global warming

packed up ferreting over a month ago, last time i went we were catching rabbits in kindle and milky doe's.

AYE ITS NOT A NICE THING WHEN YOU BOLT 6 INCH YOUNG UNS, THEN A DOE FULL OF YOUNG, I PACKED UP 3 WEEKS AGO. NO POINT IN THAT UNLESS YOURE KILLING FOR THE SAKE OF IT , AND YOURE JUST SPOILNG IT FOR NEXT YEAR. NO POINT IN IT WHEN THEY HAVNT EVEN HAD A LIFE YET SOME PEOPLE HAVE PERMISSION TO KEEP, BUT THATS NOT EVEYTHING

i ferret all year around unless it gets too hot. kittens and myxo doesnt bother me when there is myxo me and my mates go out with the dogs at about 6 and chase them.

very bad season, not many rabbits about. alot of land i had i didnt even hunt this season. and my bird broke a back talon, just to make things worse

ive been getting enuff to keep me going out for more, last time i went out i got 7.

up here in cumbria the numbers just havnt been as strong ,we havent had any sign of myxy on any of our ground either .we were getting pregnant does back in january ,but ended the season mid february as more and more does were showing milk or being pregnant .the ferrets were also killing quite a few youngsters .and moving on .overall not the best season for a long time probably struggled to get a hundred with the ferrets but a few more on the lamp and mooching about with the lurchers and whippets .
