Well we were on our way back from the afternoon school run. All of a sudden Dave stopped the car and jumped out, i looked behind me and he was running down the road. Next thing i know he is carrying a tiny baby rabbit back to the car. He was freezing cold and very skinny. We got him back home and set up a nice warm box for him. I made him up some powdered milk (we always have some in incase of emergencies) and he took 7 mls.

We couldnt leave him in the road to be hit by a car or taken by a fox tonight. The little one deserves a chance.

Only just kev, he doesnt have any strength in his back legs to stand at the minute. Dave reckons no older than 2.5 - 3 weeks and shouldnt be out the warren yet, dont know how he got on the road.

Neither Mick, just giving him a chance in life, poor little guy deserves that. We dont kill every rabbit we find, certainly not tiny little baby ones, we do have alot of respect for all our quarry

some of that milk u get for lambs will be good for him, mite be best to have a look on the net to see the cycle of how they develop in the nest etc
