Hi I was asked to post some pics of my tree dogs I have 4 different breeds....

This is Comet he is a treeing feist from Georgia he is 2 months in the pic he is 7 months now and his ears stick strait up... he will be about 16-17in and around 20-25lbs

This is Storm she is a Blue-tick coonhound from Chisum-Trails kennel in calliforina. She is 6 months in the pic and she is "PR" bred UKC, she will be around 60lbs

This is Spooky he is a Weatherford's Ben line Black Mouth Cur the pic is kind of old but it is the only pic I got he is 1 yr now... he will be about 50-55lbs

This is Billy Jean she is a Majestic Big-Game hound she is Redbone Coonhound/Bloodhound she is 4 months in the pick and she will be about 80-90lbs BUT she is fast and can jump and weave with little effort much more agile than you would think... her dad is a hunting bloodhound for bear hunting not the man trailing kind of bloodhound you see on T.V. shows in the south for convicts.

The feist is going to be hunted on squirrel and coon and will be entered in the coon competitions here by my brother who Comet lives w/... The others will be hunting Cougar, Bobcat, and coon... I may also use the cur for coyote hunting and trapping at the local cattle ranches plus as a draw dog for my Patterdale terriers for badger, fox (red/gray), nutria, and yote pups. Some of this is not legal (cougars) UNLESS you are an agent of the county which my friend is and he leases my help and my dogs that is how I can go and still be legal.. The hounds and the cur have been out but not much I still need some of my own equipment to start going by my self... I just got into the hounds last year and will really get it going next year and then in 3 years I hope to be able to get a job for the state or county like my friend and get my gas and expenses paid for by the gov. I know you guys dont have curs in Europe but IMO they are one of the grea-*test*-('") dogs there is and IMO more aggressive then a bull dog and less dog aggressive and they hunt, herd, and guard the home I would look in to them if I were you guys to make lurcher's.. my cur can jump a 4ft sage brush at a full run w/o braking stride and was as fast as the whipett he played w/ at the dog park... His mom can kill a coyote by her self and is still good around kids and pets... I have seen her helping w/ the cows and she can make a 1200lbs cow get down on its knees from her latching on to the noise and she is 45-55lbs max now that is a dog.....

Well some bad news my Cur dog died he got kicked by a horse on the ranch he was staying... and the majestic turned out to be gun shy and to timid for big game hunting.. so I gave her to a friend as a pet.. So a couple of set backs but nothing that cant be handled totallurcher/wallbash.gif .... laugh.gif

The cur was a nice dog, I am sad to see him go he was just going to start hunting yotes and it sucks... I am lucky he was bred by a friend who said I could have all the pups out of his mothers next litter.. I think I will wait but it is nice to know a pup is there if I want it...
