this mornign we headed out to a farm we hadnt been to since last feb, the signs were promising on the road down with plenty of rabbits about the local gardens.
arrived at the permission and put the ferrets in a small warren with 2 exits, no rabbits at home, but some annoying cows that seemd to like tommy

see pic below
moved on to a big hedge this warren deffo had rabbits in and we seen around 6 enter the warren. so nets down and 4 ferrets entered, after a few minutes we had our first bolt, in the nettles which slipped the net and made good its escape,
after 10 mins no shows, so locator out to see what was going on below ground, dug in and got one rabbit no sign of the ferret, had another bolt in the nettles and i was on it.
ferrets started to leave the warren, we think they couldnt keep enuff presure on the rabbtis to bolt them. few minutes and one of mine a no show then i noticed a line down one of the holes, ryan on it waith the spade to dig in and dispatch the rabbit, with ferret behind.
we went to another part of the farm with big gound warrens, and produced another
3 rabbits from the first of these warrens, 1 was a nice 3/4 grown and other 2 were showing signs of myxi
